Chat Free – No Login is Required Simply enter a nickname in the Nickname box, enter your message in the Message box, click the "Send" button, and you're instantly chatting with other users, friends, family, and co-workers. Your message is displayed in the main Chat window, and all users in the same chat group will instantly see your message. Semi-Private Group Chat You can chat in the main public group, or you can move to a semi-private group to chat with only the people that know the name of your chat group. Start or Join a Chat Group To start a new chat group, or to join an existing chat group, type the name of the chat group in the Group box, and click the "G" button. You will instantly see the chat messages in that group. After setting a group in your "Group" box, the new messages that you send will be received by all devices (i.e. computers, cell phones, iPads, PDAs, etc.), viewing that group. Chat in Any Language You can chat in English, Spanish, Japanese, French, Chinese, Italian, Korean, German, Persian, Greek, or any other language. Simply type in the Message box using your native language keyboard, or copy and paste native language text into the Message box from a word processor or any other language tool. Maximum Message Length Each message is limited to 330 characters, but you can send as many messages as you like.Chat Free – Controls
Ring this Group Checkbox When you check this box, and then send a message to a group, all the people who are viewing that group, including yourself, will hear a "Group Ringing" sound on their device (i.e. on their computer, cell phone, iPad, PDA, etc.) If you un-check this box prior to sending a message, your message will not cause the "Group Ringing" sound on the other devices viewing your group. Stop Ring Button When you hear the "Group Ringing" sound on your device, click the "Stop Ring" button to stop the sound. The "Group Ringing" sound will stop on your device only, but will not stop on all the other devices that are viewing the same group as you are. Ring Me Checkbox When you check this box, your device will play the "Group Ringing" sound every time it receives a "Ring this Group" command. When you send a message with "Ring this Group" enabled, you will hear the "Group Ringing" sound, and so will all the other people who are currently viewing the same group, and who have "Ring Me" enabled. Notify Me Checkbox When you check this box, your device will play the "New Message" sound every time it receives a new message from the group you are viewing.
